A memory is burned into this strange material, an echo of another lifetime... "The chase is over, and I have lost. The giants will endure, and I will end. As I plummeted from the sky, I saw another ship falling alongside mine. Then another, and another. I may have imagined it. The misfiring of a dying mind... Those creatures were so beautiful. But it is all ended now. They will haunt my thoughts no longer."
