No Man’s Sky Recipes has been rebuilt from the ground up. The old code had grown for years, so we started again with three goals: make it faster, easier to use and accessible to everyone.
Every recipe, item and guide is still here, at the same address. If you have a page bookmarked, it still works.
Faster
- Catalog pages show their items straight away instead of waiting for a separate data download.
- Images are sized for your screen, so phones get smaller files.
Easier to use
- Item pages answer first. The best refiner recipe for an item sits at the top, with its refiner size and time. The quickest recipe appears too, when it’s faster.
- A calculator on every item page. Type how many you need and it works out the batches and ingredients. It handles recipes that use their own output, like Copper and Indium.
- Recipe tables you can filter. Search an item, then pick “Makes it”, “Uses it” or “Both”, and narrow it down by refiner size. On phones the table scrolls sideways.
- Search everywhere. Press / on any page, or tap the search button.
- Items now sit in their in-game colours, and long names are no longer cut off.
Accessible
- Every type of page passed automated accessibility tests and can be used with just a keyboard. Pages are labelled for screen readers.
- Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines, and buttons are large enough to tap.
- Pages still work zoomed in or on very narrow screens.
Found a problem?
